Dr. Margo Fluker MD, FRCSC | Co-director
Dr. Margo Fluker is co-founder and co-director of Genesis Fertility Centre. She received her MD and completed training in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the University of Alberta in 1985. After completing her Clinical Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of California in San Francisco, Dr. Fluker joined the faculty at the University of British Columbia in 1989, where she currently holds the rank of Clinical Professor.
Dr. Fluker is actively involved in medical education and received a National Teaching Award from the Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1999. Dr. Fluker has authored or co-authored 44 peer-reviewed scientific papers and six textbook chapters. Her clinical and research interests involve new ovulation induction protocols for assisted reproduction, treatment options for young women with premature menopause, and new therapies for osteoporosis.
